What is the BUSY Project?

Busy is a capacity building project, which aims to develop in Sicily the public administration’s skills in the field of reception, orientation and social integration of migrants. The project is coordinated by the Provincial Authority of Trapani and falls within the scope of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the Home Office, co-financed by the European Union.

Its main objectives are:

Network of desks with multidisciplinary teams offering support and guidance services to legal guardians of unaccompanied minors and mentors of young adults, but also to directors of shelters, reception facilities and family homes.

Mapping of services offered by the municipality to migrants online on the website.
